Sticker Durability

Unfortunately we have been unable yet to test how long the stickers will
last when applied on your lens.

The Longevity of the vinyl decals will depend on a few factors.

- How well the sticker was applied. It is important to apply the stickers correctly lined up and without forcing its shape. Incorrectly applying the sticker even by a few millimetres can lead to bends and creases and will encourage the sticker to lift off the lens.

Furthermore any air bubbles that are not correctly removed or pressed out will also encourage the sticker to start lifting off the lens.

- Specific designs will also last longer than others. Designs with smaller and narrower details will typically start peeling earlier as there is less surface area stuck to the lens, so it is important to apply these designs correctly and carefully.

Make sure you take your time when applying the more detailed
designs.

- The Black and White color variants are lighter which makes them stick better and last longer.

Unfortunately even though the color variant vinyl’s are
advertised as permanent, the added weight of the holographic layer and a different
manufacturer leads to the vinyl being less sticky and lasting a shorter time. But as long as the vinyl is correctly applied, they will stick on just fine.

- Depending whether you are playing paintball or airsoft (or any other masked sports) will also dictate how durable the stickers are. As there are no liquid substances in airsoft, stickers will last longer.

However, in paintball as paint is likely to come into contact with the stickers it will likely reduce the adhesives effectiveness and might cause the stickers to start peeling.

- Weather conditions, especially rain will also decrease the effectiveness of the adhesive

Unfortunately we have been unable to test this but please be aware that this could happen.

Shipping Policy

Standard shipping costs are applied to each order, dependent on destination country.  Free shipping is available on product orders greater than £50 / €50 / $50.

Orders will be sent within 3 working days upon receipt of payment.

All orders are sent out from the UK via standard Royal Mail services.  Please note that due to any scheduled postal strikes or variables outside of our control there may be a delay in receiving your order within the suggested delivery times published by the Royal Mail which we cannot be held responsible for.

Due to the Royal Mail services used, a tracking number may not be supplied at time of posting, so we are unable to provide tracking numbers on most orders.

For orders outside of the UK there may be duties/taxes incurred by the customer.

We will be adding additional countries to our postal destinations - if your country is not listed please contact us via email at jaco@lickedlenses.com for further options.

Refund Policy

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and not removed from the original backing plastic, and in its original packaging.  We will not accept returns of stickers that have been ripped in error during application (please follow our application guide that can be found on the Information page).

To start a return, you can contact us at jaco@lickedlenses.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Jaco at Licked Lenses, Orchard House, Letty Green, Hertfordshire SG14 2NZ, United Kingdom.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

We use your personal Information to provide our services to you, which includes: offering products for sale, processing payments, shipping and fulfillment of your order, and keeping you up to date on new products, services, and offers.

Automatic decision-making

If you are a resident of the EEA, you have the right to object to processing based solely on automated decision-making (which includes profiling), when that decision-making has a legal effect on you or otherwise significantly affects you.

We do not engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect using customer data.

Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.

Services that include elements of automated decision-making include:

  • Temporary blacklist of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This blacklist persists for a small number of hours.
  • Temporary blacklist of credit cards associated with blacklisted IP addresses. This blacklist persists for a small number of days.
